What we believe…

“What comes to your mind when you think about God is the most important thing about you, because it affects everything else in your life.” — A.W. Tozer

  • Every word in the original writings is inspired by God and is without error. The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.

    Jeremiah 15:16; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:25

  • God exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe.

    Exodus 15:11; 1 Timothy 1:17; 1 Peter 1:2

  • We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God, who came to reveal God to us and restore our relationship with him. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature with its demands and necessities and identifying Himself completely with mankind yet without sin.

    Isaiah 53:1-12; Colossians 3:13-22; 1 Timothy 2:5-6

  • God the Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, equal in power and glory with God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. Through illumination, He enables men to understand truth.

    John 16:7-14; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 1:13-14

  • Men and women are image bearers of God living under the curse of sin. Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation.

    Genesis 1:26-30; Ephesians 2:1-22; Colossians 1:21-22

  • Salvation is freely offered to all who repent from sin and believe in Jesus Christ. Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.

    Romans 4:5-21; Romans 8:1-39; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 1:5; Colossians 2:13-14
